Participant Requirements: Men and Women, ages 18 and older, smokers or non-smokers. Women of child bearing potential with male partners and men with women partners of child bearing potential must use two acceptable methods of contraception for the duration of the study (screening through 90 days after dosing).The two methods should include one barrier method (i.e. condom with spermicidal gel, intrauterine devices, cervical cap etc.) and one other method. The other method could include oral contraceptives or another barrier method. Females not of child bearing potential must be postmenopausal for at least 1 year or be surgically sterile (bilateral tubal ligation, bilateral oophorectomy, or hysterectomy). Must experience at least 2 migraine headaches a month. BMI (Body Mass Index) must be between less than 35..
What: This research study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a medication used for treatment of moderate-severe migraine headaches, delivered via the intranasal route.
When: This study will consist 2 outpatient visits. Return on 4/24 @ 6AM to pick up study medication. Take study medication at home after onset of migraine. Return 7 days after dosing with study medication . Study dates are as follows:
