“I love my job! I would definitely call myself a ‘people-person’ and I get to meet new people every day. I really like my coworkers and our participants. I’m excited that I get to be a part of the bigger picture too. I had no idea what went on behind the scenes in getting a drug marketed before I started at QPS. It’s amazing and I’ve learned a lot in my time here!”
Recruiting Coordinator, with QPS since 2014.
“I have enjoyed working at QPS and have learned so much in such short time, and still, I feel like I continue to learn something new every day. I never even imagined the work that it takes to get a new drug marketed and on the shelves. To think that I may someday be able to proudly say that I took some part in the development of a drug product that could have an impact on someone I know or know of, is almost crazy. To come into a completely new environment of work was quite intimidating at first, but after getting to know some of the staff on a more personal level, I am reminded that we all had to start somewhere! It is nice to not dread work every day, and know that chances of it being the same as the day before is less than likely- “That’s QPS!” as it goes. I look forward to future experiences I will gain from working at QPS. ‘Just a small fish on a big hook’ has gained a whole new meaning for me.”
“I have worked in other clinical settings before and what sets aside QPS is the amount of work I get to do directly with the community. As a recruiter, I get to see how much of the work we do can affect those in our own community. While the research is important, it doesn’t compare to the gratification each participant has when they complete a study. Everyone that walks through our doors has a story; they might be paying their way through college, saving to buy a house or paying off debt. It brings a sense of fulfillment to see them carry out their goals; and I get to help further pharmaceutical research in the process. It is a win-win for everyone.”
“My favorite thing about QPS is the staff I work with and the participants I see on a daily basis. I have built many friendships with my co-workers and the participants. Also, learning all the steps it takes to putting a new drug out on the market is amazing and that there is always something new to challenge me. I never would have thought I would be partnering with different drug companies to try to better the world. I’m so excited to see where QPS is going to take me within my professional and personal life!”
